Lights, Camera, Action! Dumpling Edition - Dragon Boat Festival Video Production

Ever wondered how a set for Food Photography and Videography is produced?

Before we begin we would like to say that we had complied to all safety measurements for production during Phase 1 from IMDA.

Let us walk you through a simple production process encompassing customised food styling for the upcoming Dragon Boat festival! Apart from dragon boat races, what is the most distinctive element of this festival? Yes! Dumplings, also known as Bak Zhang!

For this project, our Food Stylist, Producer and Videographer worked closely with the client to conceptualise the creative direction and theme for the shoot. We materialised the ideas and embarked on the procurement of essential props for this project - Oriental wooden concept with the use of a textured wooden table-top, accompanied by rattan props for a comprehensive vibe!

For this project, we partnered with People’s Association to come up with a simple step-by-step Curry Dumpling recipe using the Dancing Chef Curry Powder. So it’s time for you to get hands-on and creative in your kitchen!

Now you can finally get your hands on and make your own Bak Zhang!
